Portraits, Fine Art, Illustration and Photography
by Martin Bellmann
Welcome to my website.
There was a time, once, when I was still building my log cabin, that I would sit at night on a pile of gravel that I had and look at the moon. I talked to the moon, like I was talking to God or perhaps an old friend, and I would speak my heart's deepest thoughts, ask for guidance. Interestingly enough, I would often receive answers. They weren't loud or forceful...it was just a quiet knowing, but they always proved true.
The Blue Heron became a Spirit Messenger for me. The Native Americans believed that all animals, and indeed, all things had something to teach us. We need only listen...and learn.
So I named my site after two of my Spirit Teachers.
Here and on the following pages you will find examples of my drawings, paintings, illustration work and photographs. There is also information on how to commission a pencil portrait of yourself or a loved one, or a pen and ink portrait of your home or business.
Come on in. Look around. Thank you for your visit.
Blessings to you all.
